Sporting News columnist Mike DeCourcy recently posted his 10 best coaching jobs in college basketball. Topping the list is the University of North Carolina with UCLA and Texas fast finishers.

Taking a quick glance at our soon to be released PrepStars Team Recruiting Rankings, it’s noteworthy to compare how the prime time programs made tracks along the recruiting trail with the Class of 2011 and how each fared in their 2010-11 quest for the NCAA championship.

We'll have to wait and see how it all translates into future glory, or not.

For a broader, perhaps more meaningful perspective, dig deeper and compare how our Parade Of Programs recruited over the last several years. It's fun and provides some insight into their recent performance.

For example, Kentucky's team ranking during the span from 2007-10 was No. 11, No. 16, No. 1 and No. 1. This year, again, they were an easy pick as No. 1 with their stable of incoming talent.
