This weekend always is a big one for grassroots hoops, and the marquee of the weekend is the Tournament of Champions in North Carolina. Headquartered at UNC but branching to Duke, N.C. State and other are schools, the TOC has been a fixture in the Triangle for 15-plus years.

The TOC field scored some major wins, getting not only many of the elite non-Nike backed teams but also getting some of those very Nike teams. That means we'll get another look at clubs that played at the Boo Williams Invitational in April, yet we'll also dedicate a great deal of our time to watching other clubs we haven't yet seen this season.

The underclass divisions are loaded as well, and be sure to stop by throughout the weekend to take in our reports.
