Skills AssessmentAssets: The 2013 class features an abundance of southpaws, and King is one of several with high-major ability. A physically put-together wing with a sweet stroke from downtown, King enjoyed a big junior season and is primed for more starring performances this spring and summer. He's celebrated primarily as a three-point bomber, but he also can play inside, pick up points on the offensive glass or finish in transition. Not only that, he's a creative passer who knows how to draw defensive attention and then spot a wide open teammate. We also like his competitive drive and believe he'll both put up numbers and help his team win games. Question Marks: While King's game already is fairly complete, he can continue to hone his overall skill level. Becoming a more reliable dribbler in halfcourt sets would make him even more dangerous as a driver, and defensively there's a great deal of room for him to improve as well. Thinking long-term, he may attempt to evolve into a true, huge swingman rather than a pure wing forward, but for college he's certainly plenty big for his position (and would be fine in the NBA, too).
